WARM TIPS One

When entering China

You shall submit your passport or other international travel document and visa or other entry permit to the exit/entry border inspection authorities for examination, go through the prescribed formalities, and may enter upon examination and approval.

Foreigners aged 14 (inclusive) to 70 (inclusive) entering China shall have their fingerprints kept, but keeping of fingerprints may be waived for the following situations:

Those holding diplomatic passports or Chinese diplomatic and courtesy visas, except for national personnel with equivalent arrangements,

Those who are arranged to be exempt from keeping fingerprints based on bilateral agreements or reciprocal arrangements;

Foreign officials at or above the deputy ministerial level (inclusive) and their delegation members who areprovided with convenience for handling entry procedures in a centralized manner in accordance with relevant regulations of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China;

Those whose fingerprints are all missing or cannot be kept;

Those who are exempt from keeping fingerprints with the consent of the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China under special circumstances.

When exiting China

You shall submit your exit/entry documents including passport or other international travel document to theexit/entry border inspection authorities for examination, go through prescribed formalities, and may exit upon examination and approval. Please make sure to confirm your visa is valid.

WARM TIPS Two

China welcomes all friendly and kind-hearted friends to visit. According to the regulations of Articles 25 and 21 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China under any of the following circumstances, foreigners are not allowed to enter China:

Where one holds no valid exit/entry documents, or refuses or evades border inspection;

Where one was deported, or repatriated upon decision, and the No-Entry-into-China period has not expired;

Where one is suffering from serious mental disorders, infectious tuberculosis or other infectious diseases that may severely jeopardize the public health:

Where one may endanger China's national security or interests, or disrupt social and public order, or engage in other illegal or criminal activities;

Where one resorts to fraudulent acts in visa application or cannot guarantee expected expenditures during their stay in China;

Where one may engage in activities not conforming to the types of visa after entering China;

Other circumstances in which entry is not allowed in accordance with the Chinese laws or administrative regulations.

WARM TIPS Three

China has detailed exit and entry policies to faciitate orderly communication among friends from various countries According to the regulations of Article 28 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law of the People's Republic of China, under any of the following circumstances, foreigners are not allowed to enter China:

Where those who are sentenced to criminal punishments, the execution of which has not been completed, or that are suspects or defendants in criminal cases, except those who are sentenced and transferred under relevant agreements between China and foreign countries;

Where those who are involved in unsettled civil cases and are not allowed to exit China upon decision ofthe people's courts;

Where those who are in arrears of paying off labor remuneration and therefore are not allowed to exit by decision of the relevant departments under the State Council or of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions or municipalities directly under the Central Government;

Other circumstances in which exit shall not be allowed in accordance with laws or administrative regulations.

WARM TIPS Four

For the entry and exit of foreigners residing in China, some ports in China have set up rapid channels. If you meet any of the following conditions, you can proceed with collection and filing for rapid customs clearance. After that, you can use the rapid channel for customs clearance:

Foreigners holding foreign passports and foreign permanent resident ID card:

Foreigners holding foreign electronic passports and with residence permits in China for at least 6 months;

Foreign crew members who are eligible for visa-exemption entry on regular international flights and have obtained visas for flight attendants, employment, or residence permits for over 1 year (inclusive).

*Whether foreigners may use rapid channels forcustoms clearance shall be subject to the finalinspection by border inspection authorities.
