During this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, border inspection authorities handled the travel of 5.256 million people crossing into and out of China, averaging 1.752 million travelers per day—a figure that represents an 18.6% increase from the same period last year. Mainland Chinese residents accounted for 2.632 million of these crossings, up 15.1% from the previous year. The number of travelers from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan was 2.07 million, marking a 7.3% increase. Foreign visitors numbered 554,000, a significant jump of 62.2% from the same period last year. Additionally, 242,000 transport vehicles (including planes, ships, trains, and cars) were processed, reflecting a 37.6% rise compared to the same period last year.
今年中秋节期间全国边检机关共计保障525.6万人次中外人员出入境，日均175.2万人次，较去年中秋节同期增长18.6%。其中，内地居民出入境263.2万人次，较去年同期增长15.1%；港澳台居民207万人次，较去年同期增长7.3%；外国人55.4万人次，较去年同期增长62.2%。共计查验出入境交通运输工具24.2万架（艘、列、辆）次，较去年同期增长37.6%。
