China and Singapore's 30-day mutual visa exemption agreement is set to take effect on February 9, as confirmed by a deal signed on Thursday by representatives from both governments. Holders of ordinary passports from both sides will be able to enter the other country visa-free for a stay of up to 30 days. Those who enter the other country for work, news reporting and other activities that require prior approval, or intend to stay in the other country for more than 30 days, must obtain the corresponding visa before entering the other country.
