Notice on Further Visa Facilitation For Non-Chinese Hong Kong Residents<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In order to facilitate personnel exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland, support Hong Kong\u2019s integration into the overall development of the country, the Commissioner\u2019s Office will provide following visa facilitation for Non-Chinese Hong Kong permanent residents and Non-Chinese Hong Kong residents as from today:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u2002The above mentioned Hong Kong residents who are travelling to the mainland for business, tourism, family-visiting ,cultural and academic exchanges can apply for multiple-entry visas valid for up to 5 years with each stay duration up to 180 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u2002The above mentioned Hong Kong residents are exempted from submitting round-trip transportation tickets and hotel reservations.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u2002The above mentioned Hong Kong residents who have had fingerprints collected and obtaind Chinese visas from any China\u2019s visa-issuing authorities abroad, are exempted from fingerprints collection when applying for visas from the Commissioner\u2019s Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

The foreign domestic helpers are not involved. It should be noted that the visa officers might adjust validity or duration of stay or numbers of entry of the above mentioned visas base on different circumstances of individual cases, and might ask for supplementary documents or interviews. Hence, applicants are not guaranteed to obtain visas with multiple entries or with longest validity and duration of stay. In addition, for those who apply the agreements signed between the Government of the People\u2019s Republic of China and the Government of foreign countries in therms of mutually issuing multiple-entry visas with long-term validity, relevant arrangements remain the same.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notice on Further Optimizing Visa Policies for Foreign Macao Residents to Travel to the Mainland<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In order to further facilitate personnel exchanges between the Macao SAR and the Mainland, the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao will provide more convenient visa policies for foreign Macao residents (including permanent residents and non-permanent residents) to travel to the Mainland from October 16, 2024. The specific arrangements are as follows:<\/p>\n

1. Foreign Macao residents who travel to the Mainland for short-term tourism, trade, visiting relatives, visits and other activities may apply for multiple-entry visas with a validity period of 5 years and a stay period of no more than 180 days.<\/p>\n

2. Foreign Macao residents are exempted from submitting round-trip air tickets (train tickets, boat tickets) and hotel reservations when applying for visas to China.<\/p>\n

3. Foreign Macao residents may enjoy the policy of \"one-time collection and long-term exemption\" of fingerprints. Applicants who have left fingerprints at Chinese overseas visa agencies will no longer need to have their fingerprints collected when applying for a visa at the Commissioner's Office.<\/p>\n
